Meta’s Threads becomes a Game Changer as a new age social media platform

Threads experienced over 880,000 global downloads on iOS alone as per the data provided by Data.ai between July 6 and July 12. Threads also gained momentum on Android, surpassing 1 million downloads.
The launch of Instagram Threads has experienced rapid success and has surpassed 100 million users within a few days of its release. Recent data reveals that the app has already attained one-fifth of Twitter's worldwide weekly active user base and is 86 times larger than Truth Social (Which used to be the largest Twitter competitor in the U.S.).

The app has now accumulated over 150 million downloads according to current estimates. This achievement of becoming the most downloaded app is 5.5 times faster than the previous record holder Niantic's ‘Pokémon Go’, which held this title since its debut in July 2016.
