Urban Development
Urban Development is deeply related to economic development as it affects the nation’s GDP growth. The Municipal Corporation plays a very important role in the construction of public buildings, recreation facilities, museums, theatres, stadiums, housing projects, etc. as well as supply of basic needs such as water, electricity, road transport, general maintenance, street lighting, and others. A corporation of such a vast scale is susceptible to challenges of lack of transparency, accountability, human errors, and dereliction of duty. There’s a need for a centralized control system to ensure smooth functioning and glitches-free operations at all levels.
