LinkedIn working on an AI ‘coach’ for job applications

LinkedIn is reportedly working on an AI-powered 'coach' to aid job applications and networking. Unlike regular social media platforms, LinkedIn is a professional networking site that connects millions of professionals from diverse industries. The users include recruiters, hiring managers and industry leaders actively seeking talent to fill in the positions that their respective organizations are willing to hire.
The platform appears to be developing a new AI tool called "LinkedIn Coach" This generative chatbot aims to simplify the process of job search, the chatbot is supposed to simplify the process by analysing a user’s qualifications & work history. It may guide users through the application process, offer skill development support for a particular desired position and may also provide networking assistance within their LinkedIn network.
The integration of AI-powered assistants on the platform was anticipated since LinkedIn is also owned by Microsoft, earlier Bing chat was integrated with ChatGPT which is a supreme level AI in producing real-time results. Microsoft has already incorporated chatbots into various other applications as well such as GitHub.
A LinkedIn spokesperson hinted at more information being shared soon.
Previously also LinkedIn demonstrated their commitment to AI-driven solutions by introducing AI-powered messages to help recruiters find and connect with potential candidates on the platform.
As LinkedIn continues to innovate, this AI 'coach' can be predicted to go a long way by making job searches and professional connections more efficient and effective for users.
